Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) offers a comprehensive benefits package and access to all services OKCIC provides. Benefits are offered to employees on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment. Benefits for full time employees include:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield – Medical insurance premiums for employees, spouse and children are paid 100% by OKCIC.
  • Delta Dental – Dental Insurance premiums for employees, spouse and children are paid 100% by OKCIC.
  • Life Insurance coverage through Reliance Standard is provided to the employee for the amount of two times the employee’s annual salary. Employees may purchase additional life insurance for themselves as well as for spouse and dependents.
  • Short-term disability and long-term disability coverage is offered through Reliance Standard. Disability coverage is 100% employee paid, if elected.
  • Vision Insurance coverage is offered through Davis Vision. Vision is 100% employee paid, if elected.
  • Accident Insurance coverage is offered through Trustmark. Accident Insurance is 100% employee paid, if elected.
  • Critical Life Events coverage is offered through Trustmark. Critical Life is 100% employee paid if, elected.
  • All professional licenses are reimbursed by OKCIC.
  • Employees have access to use OKCIC Medical services on the first day of employment and have access to specialty clinics after 90 days, including:
    • Dental
    • Nutrition Counseling
    • Optometry
    • Pediatrics
    • Pharmacy (on-site)
    • Physical Therapy
    • Pre-Diabetes/Diabetes Programs
    • Primary Care
    • Public Health
    • Wellness Center (on-site)

Additional benefits become effective on the first day of the month following 90 days of employment:

  • Retirement – Employees receive 5% of their annual salary in a 401K. The first 3% is vested immediately and the other 2% is vested on a vesting schedule; completely vested at the end of the fifth year of employment
  • Holidays – OKCIC observes 11 holidays in addition to a day of personal birthday leave (must be used within the month of the employee’s birthday).
  • Paid Time Off – In the first year, employees accrue 15 days of Paid Time Off (PTO). That total increases to 30 days of accrued PTO during the second year of employment.
  • Education Leave – OKCIC offers up to five hours of education leave per week. All education leave requests must be made before enrolling and are subject to staffing availability.
  • Wellness – Employees are allotted 30 minutes of administrative time per day to exercise in OKCIC’s Wellness Center. We have Certified Personal Trainers on-site to schedule one-on-one training; employee-only group classes, or independent access to the gym from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Thirty minutes of administrative time can also be used for Nutritional Counseling or attending cooking classes in OKCIC’s Demonstration Kitchen. All administration time must be approved by the supervisor and patient care always comes first.
  • Loan Repayment Options – Oklahoma City Indian Clinic serves as an Indian Health Service payback site for IHS scholarship recipients as well as an approved site for Loan Repayment Services. OKCIC is partnered with National Health Service Corp. for loan repayment services.
