Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) had a day of celebration on June 27, 2025, as staff, patients, and community partners gathered for the ribbon cutting of the clinic’s brand-new Behavioral Health location, and the exciting launch of a mail order pharmacy service.
Expanding Behavioral Health
The new building in north Oklahoma City isn’t just bigger, it’s designed to give patients more room and more resources. Behavioral Health offers individual and group therapy, psychiatric management, recovery, advocacy, support, substance misuse treatment and more.
Mail Order Pharmacy Coming Soon
One of the most groundbreaking additions at this location will be the new mail order pharmacy. This makes OKCIC the first urban American Indian organization in the country to offer in-house mail order prescriptions, helping patients get their medications easier and more convenient.
New Convenience Care South
While the new building will free up space in other OKCIC locations for future growth, it’s not the only expansion the clinic is celebrating. Meeting the growing need for care across the metro, OKCIC also opened a Convenience Care South clinic at 1100 SW 89th Street.
This new location will help reduce transportation barriers for patients seeking same-day care. While it is not a full-service doctor’s office, the clinic will offer urgent services and give patients timely treatment without the need for costlier options, such as emergency room visits.
