OKCIC Home › Native Resources & Nutrition Center
This center serves as a vital hub, offering essential support to our community by providing complimentary necessities such as food, clothing, and blankets. Beyond these immediate provisions, patients and members of the Native community are warmly encouraged to engage with our dedicated social services specialists. These professionals are readily available to offer guidance and information on a wide array of local resources, ensuring individuals have access to comprehensive support that extends beyond basic needs. Whether seeking assistance with food, clothing, shelter, veterans programs, transportation services, or other community resources, our center is committed to fostering a supportive environment where individuals can access the resources and information necessary for their overall well-being.
Services provided to patients include free food, clothing, shoes and blankets. Patients and Native community members are welcome to walk in and speak to our social services specialists to find information about community resources in the area, including Native American Veterans Homeless Programs, transportation and more. OKCIC is working to expand services to include an in-house dietitian and community partners to help patients sign up for various benefits, including SNAP, employment assistance and childcare.
