A Legacy of Excellence
In 2025, Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) continued its strong commitment to fostering health and wellness for both patients and employees. This year, OKCIC proudly earned the Certified Healthy Oklahoma Award for the 15th time, reflecting its ongoing dedication to creating a thriving, supportive, and exceptionally healthy environment that sets the standard for businesses across the state.
Wellness in Action
OKCIC’s dedication to the health and well-being of its employees include weight-loss challenges, on-site wellness centers at two locations, and free 30-minute daily exercise availability. The healthy lifestyle environment is reflected in patient services, with access to the Wellness Center, cooking classes for all ages, and diabetes prevention programs. A full schedule of events throughout the year provides patients the opportunity to participate in day camps for children up to the age of 18, and family friendly events such
as kayaking and the annual Walk for Wellness.
Setting the Standard for Health
The Certified Healthy Oklahoma program began in 2003 as a collaborative initiative, and recognizes recipients as leaders in their communities for going “above and beyond” to make health and wellness a priority. There’s a sense of pride that comes with this award, as it shows OKCIC’s commitment to improving not only individual health, but Oklahoma’s future for Native generations to come.
