In August 2025, Oklahoma City Indian Clinic was recognized as the Oklahoma City Chapter Member of the Year at the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Oklahoma conference in Tulsa. The award highlights OKCIC’s continued engagement with the Chamber and its commitment to supporting Native-owned businesses and economic development initiatives.
Building Connections at the Gathering Business Summit
The recognition was presented during the Gathering Business Summit, the Chamber’s largest annual event. The conference features educational sessions focused on successful Native-owned business models, government contracting opportunities, financial assistance resources, and business matchmaking.
OKCIC participated in the summit as a vendor alongside other Native-owned and tribally affiliated organizations. Through its involvement, the clinic connected with partners, shared information about its services, and supported efforts strengthening Native communities through collaboration and economic growth.
