Zach Stuart, a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, serves as Chief Legal Officer for Oklahoma City Indian Clinic, where he advises leadership on governance, health care regulatory, employment, contractual, operational and compliance matters.
Prior to joining OKCIC in 2023, he practiced at a national law firm focused on Indian law, where he represented and advised tribes and tribal organizations on a broad range of legal and governance issues, including health care, employment, real estate, environmental, and litigation matters. Earlier in his career, Zach served as an assistant district attorney in Tulsa, where he handled matters involving the Indian Child Welfare Act, and later represented clients in commercial litigation and business transactions across a variety of industries.
He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and Finance from the University of Oklahoma.
