About: Talk Saves Lives is an introductory suicide prevention presentation developed by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Participants will learn about the latest research on suicide, including its impact in Native communities, common risk factors, and warning signs. The presentation also covers practical prevention strategies, how to start supportive conversations with someone you may be concerned about, and resources available for help and healing. This training is open to anyone interested in learning more and helping keep themselves, their loved ones, and their communities safe.
