Honoring Years of Dedication
Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) bid a heartfelt farewell to our Community Health Representative, Vicki Yackeyonny, as she begins her well-earned retirement. Vicki has been a vital part of OKCIC’s family since 1994, when the clinic was still housed in its original downtown building. She was one of the first responders following the Oklahoma City Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing, helping to coordinate efforts directly from the clinic.
Care That Touches Lives
Vicki’s patients deeply adored and respected her. She went above and beyond, often driving patients to their appointments when transportation was an issue, ensuring they never missed a chance at care. She had a remarkable memory for names, a gift for listening without judgment, and a heart that guided her every step. Her work ethic, kindness, and genuine care set the gold standard for what it means to be a Community Health Representative.
Wishing Vicki the Best on Her Next Adventure
She leaves behind a legacy of service that will not be forgotten, touching the lives of countless patients, families, and coworkers throughout her time at OKCIC. We are deeply grateful for all Vicki has contributed to the clinic and the community, and wish her the very best in her retirement and next great adventure.
