A Year of Growth
Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) successfully hosted its annual Elder’s Health Fair, providing essential preventive health services to nearly 90 patients—a 16% increase from the previous year. This marks the second in-person Elder’s Health Fair since the COVID-19 pandemic, with growing participation and engagement.
One-Stop Health Care
Patients received care from multiple health providers, including dental, optometry, and primary care professionals. In addition to medical services, attendees connected with local organizations offering valuable resources for elder health and wellness.
Promoting Regular Check-ups
To encourage proactive health management, elder patients who scheduled medical appointments during the event were entered into a contest for special prizes. This initiative helped reinforce the importance of regular check-ups and preventive care.
