About: Native Traditions in Motion is an 8-week, culturally rooted wellness program that blends yoga, powwow-inspired dance, and traditional movement teachings. The program connects movement and wellness through native practices, with sessions centered on themes such as caregiving, elder wellness, and men’s strength.
This session is designed for pre and post-natal mothers, connecting physical activity to traditional practices through gentle yoga flow and parent/baby movement. There will also be teachings on cradleboards, baby-wearing, nurturing roles, and early bonding. Participants may join in person or from home virtually. You are welcome to join at anytime during the 8-week session after registering and receiving your welcome letter.
